Il film di Cristina Comencini con Giovanna Mezzogiorno, Alessio Boni e Luigi Lo Cascio è stato inserito nella cinquina dei candidati al premio come miglior film straniero alla 78esima edizione degli Oscar (le premiazioni avverranno il 5 marzo). Era dal 1999, anno del trionfo di "La vita è bella" di Roberto Benigni, che l'Academy ignorava i nostri film. Otto le nomination per "Brokeback mountain".
Il kolossal "King Kong" ha conquistato quattro candidature. Cinque candidature per "Capote", "Walk the Line" e "Munich". Sei candidature sono state conquistate dai film "Crash", "Memorie di una Geisha" e "Good Night, and Good Luck".

LE ATRE NOMINATION ITALIANE
Oltre a conquistare la candidatura all'Oscar per il miglior film straniero con "La Bestia nel Cuore" di Cristina Comencini, l'Italia ha conquistato altre due nomine con Gabriella Pescucci e Dario Marianelli. La Pescucci è stata nominata per i costumi del film "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory". Per l'italiana è la terza candidatura. Era già stata nominata (e aveva vinto l'Oscar) nel 1993 per i costumi de "L'Età dell'Innocenza" e nel 1989 per "Le Avventure del Barone Munchausen".
Marianelli ha conquistato la candidatura per la musica di "Orgoglio e Pregiudizio". Per il compositore toscano, è nato a Pisa, è la prima candidatura all'Oscar.
IL TRIONFO DI GEORGE CLOONEY
Giornata trionfale per George Clooney che ha conquistato tre candidature all'Oscar. Clooney ha ricevuto la nomina come miglior regista per "Good Night, and Good Luck" che racconta la persecuzione degli intellettuali sospettati di simpatie per il comunismo. Per lo stesso film ha ricevuto una candidatura per la miglior sceneggiatura originale (insieme a Grant Heslov). Complessivamente "Good Night, and Good Luck" ha ricevuto ben sei candidature all'Oscar. Il terzo successo è giunto dal suo talento di attore. Clooney è candidato all'Oscar, come non protagonista, per la sua interpretazione in "Syriana" di un agente della Cia senza più illusioni.

si,stavolta come ha detto clooney ci sono produzioni indipendenti da hollywood e sono rimasti fottuti.anche se avrei preferito che vincesse qualcosa matchpoint e la sposa cadavere cosi come paradise now davvero eccezionale. . -

bhe munich era allen e allen e' odiato dall'academy awards ( sta gente non ha mai premiato kubrick.lo ricordo con vergogna...)e la sposa cadavere era burton e burton non e' proprio idolatrato li'...tutte pastette vergognose alla fin fine, come i mancati premi x munich.
e' gia' tanto che un film cosi' articolato e complesso come crash abbia vinto l'oscar...accontentiamoci !

guarda stavolta ha vinto crash,ma ora per esempio perchè negli anni passati non facevano vincere qualcosa ad amores perros che è stato la base di questo genere di film?(le storie che si intersecano con un incidente).o ancora per andare piu indietro,non perchè sono di parte,non davano la statuetta come miglior film a quentin con pulp fiction????????

si ho sbagliato poco piu' sopra,volevo dire match point.spielberg di premi ne ha vinti di gia' per schindler list e salvate il soldato ryan, ma ha il grosso difetto di essere discontinuo e toccare dei picchi di qualita' immensi a volte e fare cavolate tremende altre.Se si lamenta lui che deve dire il povero kubrick come detto prima ?tra l'altro devo vedere truman capote tanto osannato e dai noi non ancora uscito.

i premi non e' molto che stanno cambiando direzione e logica verso la qualita,nel 1994 non l'avrebbero mai dato a pulp fiction come ignorato fu kill bill , e amores perros poteva essere citato come miglior film straniero perche' e' bellissimo .concordo con te, ma i jaccuse per gli errori del passato meglio seppellirli che mostrarli.. -

ho una teoria per questa interessantissima domanda di tristan: l'oscar a clooney non potevano darlo per good night good luck , non potevano darglielo come attore protagonista perche' c'era da omaggiare truman capote, e allora si sono inventati questa parte secondaria che di secondario non ha nulla ( matt damon appare meno di lui) per potergli comunque dare un oscar che stramerita senza aizzarsi addosso le ire del pubblico ....teoria mia ovvio, non condivisibile senza nessun problema.pensieri e non dati di fatto. .
